Natural Polymer Technology
The objective of this line of research is to develop, produce, characterize, perform stability study and apply materials that are based on natural polymers, with differentiated properties, intended for the production of biodegradable materials for packaging and inputs. There are 7 professors working in this area: Eliana Cristina da Silva Rigo, Fernando Gustavo Tonin, Gustavo César Dacanal, Izabel Cristina Freitas Moraes, Milena Martelli Tosi, Paulo José do Amaral Sobral and Roselena Faez.
Ceramic and Composite Materials
This line of research is intended to synthesize, develop, characterize, evaluate performance and study the application of ceramic materials, composites and nanocomposites, with innovative properties and low environmental impacts aimed at the production of biomaterials and products designed mainly for civil construction and agribusiness.
